2024 Roster Rollout Continues

We would like to welcome the 3 newest Clovers, pictured left to right: Lane Mclean, Richie Paltridge & Samuel Bespoyasny. 

Lane joins us as a local Clover from right here in Johnston County. The North Johnston 2022 graduate is now a sophomore at Mount Olive where he will spend time as a middle infielder. Mclean saw limited action in 2023 but batted .400 through 7 games as a freshman last season. 

Richie Paltridge makes the trip to Clayton from Montgomery, New York. Richie is a left-handed pitcher that is now beginning his second season at Sienna University after transferring in from Penn State in 22'. Paltridge comes highly recommended from the Sienna coaching staff and we anticipate a big role for him with the Clovers this summer. Last season he racked up 24 innings while striking out 21 in 14 appearances. 

An Omaha, NE native - Sam Bespoyasny will make the cross country trip to Clayton. Former Clover, Nick Wiepen, made the connection possible between Sam and the Clovers. Bespoyasny is a freshman at Moberly CC that brings a 5 pitch mix to opposing hitters.
